30% of the build is funded. The six brick segments are the stages of construction, in the order the money is needed; the bar fills as gifts come in. On site, construction has reached the second floor.

The $200,000 goal is the building itself. The last segment is everything raised beyond it, which goes to running the home once it opens: the wardens' and teachers' salaries, the boys' schooling and upkeep, and the lab, year after year.

USD figures are an estimate at approximately PKR 275–278 per $1 and will be confirmed with SPC.

Why this home, and why here

Three minutes that explain everything: nearly 4 million orphaned children in Pakistan (UNICEF 2024) — and why Jafar e Tayyar, where 100+ children earned A+ grades in this year's matric board and one son of the neighborhood placed third in all of Karachi.

Phase 1 houses 30 orphan boys, with a technology and skills centre serving the whole community — built by SHARE Pakistan Charity, a registered trust since 2011, PCP-certified, FBR-registered.

The Multitech Center

Not charity for one child. A livelihood for a whole neighbourhood.

Paying an orphan's expenses ends the day the money ends. So this building is more than a home. It holds a computer lab and skills workshop open to the young people of Jafar e Tayyar, where the thirty boys who live here and their neighbours learn to earn: from computers and AI tools to practical vocational skills. SHARE Pakistan's zero-markup loans and job placement then help graduates buy tools and find work.

Choose how you want to help

Give what you can, sponsor a room, or bid on something beautiful. Every room sponsor, and every gift of $3,000 or more, earns an engraved brick on the donor wall at the entrance: “Recite Fatiha for” the name you choose.

"And they give food, in spite of their love for it, to the needy, the orphan and the captive."

The Holy Qur'an — Surah al-Insan, 76:8

وَيَسْأَلُونَكَ عَنِ الْيَتَامَىٰ ۖ قُلْ إِصْلَاحٌ لَّهُمْ خَيْرٌ

"They ask you about orphans. Say: setting their affairs right is best."

The Holy Qur'an — Surah al-Baqarah, 2:220

The Project

Thirty boys, a skills centre, and a neighbourhood of 70,000

Jafar e Tayyar Society sits in Karachi's Malir district — young, dense, and still waiting on the institutions its children need. Phase 1 is a three-storey home for thirty orphaned boys that opens the Multitech Center to the whole community: computer skills, AI tools, design and vocational skills, so that the boys and their neighbours can stand on their own feet.

The full plan, the floor-by-floor accommodation, the four gaps we are closing and every construction milestone are all set out in detail.
